Tom Lynch Educational Scholarship

Amount:
Varies.

Criteria:
Applicants must be a graduate or a high school senior graduating from a school within one of the following Kansas counties:

• Mitchell
• Cloud
• Jewell
• Republic
• Clay
• Lincoln
• Washington
• Ottawa

Applicant must plan to enroll full-time at a college, university, community college, or vocational/technical school in Kansas or Nebraska in the year the scholarship is to be applied.
Applicant must demonstrate good work ethic and involvement in academics, extracurricular activities, and/or employment by submitting the following:

• Resume
• Letter of recommendation

Applicant must submit an essay addressing their plans after ​completing their education program.
All other ​factors being equal, ​preference ​shall be given to applicants that demonstrate financial need and/or plan to return to a county ​listed above.

Renewals:
Recipients can apply as part of total applicant pool for second year, consecutively. Scholarship can only be received for two years.
